DESCRIPTION | Swimmers in Bronze 1 have some competitive swimming experience. The focus of this group is to refine and continue to develop the swimmer’s skills. Conditioning and endurance training are also introduced. All of the swimmer’s other activities, such as soccer, baseball, dance, etc. are encouraged. Swimmers generally compete in SBSC hosted inter-squad and sanctioned invitational meets and are encouraged to attend at least 3-4 practices offered each week. More experienced swimmers generally compete in local "BRW" level swim meets. Progression to the next level is based on age (Silver 1) or achievement (Bronze 2 / Silver 2). | The focus of this group is to refine and continue to develop the swimmer’s skills. PREREQUISITES AND PROTOCOLS FOR PROMOTION | Promotion to Silver 1 & 2 will be offered on the 1st of the month after a swimmer's 11th birthday. Swimmers may be eligible for Silver 2 if:
Senior Development eligible swimmers may be promoted earlier if they have achieved an 11-12 year old WAG time (eligibile Aug 1 if they will turn 11 before WAG), an 11-12 year old Spring JO time (eligible January 1 if they will be 11 before Spring JOs), or an 11-12 year old JAG time (eligible April 1 if they will be 11 before JAG) |

FUNDRAISING | All Bronze families are required to complete 15 hours of volunteer duties per year. Participating in the teams anual Narhwalathon is highly encouraged with a goal of $200 Fundraising.
